Mildred Lucille Mull, 82, of Cohutta, Ga., passed away Monday, May 19, 2014, at Hamilton Medical Center surrounded by her loving family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn C. Mull; parents, Roy and Eunice Edgeman; and sister, Willie Dean Wells.
She was a lifelong resident of Cohutta and was a member of First Baptist Church of Cohutta.
She was one of the original members of the Whitfield County Fire Department W.A.V.E.S program. She was a very loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Betty and Johnny Lawson of Cohutta; son and daughter-in-law, David and Kathy Mull of Dalton, Ga.; grandchildren: Elicia and Paul Walker of Dalton, Lindsey and Johnny Bowling of Rocky Face, Brandon Reagan of Chatsworth, Ga., and Brady Mull of Dalton; great-grandson, Nick Walker; and sister-in-law, Pam Mull of Chattanooga.
The funeral to honor her life will be held Thursday, May 22, 2014, at 1 p.m. at Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home with the Revs. Chuck Harmon and John Bagley officiating. Interment will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Whitfield County, Ga., firemen.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday, from 5 until 9 p.m.
