Students at Tennessee Christian Preparatory School welcomed clients of Life Bridges to their campus for an event earlier this semester.

The school’s Interact Club had the joy of sharing an afternoon playing kickball with their newfound friends.

It was a beautiful afternoon for an outdoor event, and all of those gathered were in high spirits. Teams were chosen, and the game began.

What followed was a “precious” interaction between the students of TCPS and the clients of Life Bridges “that words cannot accurately describe,” a school official said.

Each TCPS student paired with a Life Bridges friend to play ball. Some of those from Life Bridges watched from the stands, many joined in and played kickball.

The students from TCPS were “so blessed” by this interaction, the school official said.

One by one, the students reportedly said to their school director that they thought it had been a good event and that they wanted to have one like it again.

The culmination of the day ended with TCPS students enjoying a snack and a time of fellowship with their newfound friends.

As Life Bridges left the field, one of their clients stopped before leaving to ask if he could return to play again. His request was met with a resounding “yes.”

There is no greater joy than meeting new friends. TCPS officials said they were thankful to the people of Life Bridges for becoming new friends to the students of TCPS.
