CapitalMark Bank & Trust was once again awarded a 5-Star Superior Rating from independent rating and research firm BauerFinancial Inc., marking the 12th consecutive quarter to earn this honor.

BauerFinancial uses key metrics to analyze the strength, soundness and performance of U.S. banks and credit unions.

Five-Star ratings are only awarded to institutions considered to be the strongest in the nation.

Cleveland President Keith Barrett states, “CapitalMark’s unique banking model and highly experienced Banking Teams continue to produce strong results and gain positive feedback from clients. Our clients appreciate the One Banker, One Bank model, which assigns every client a dedicated Banker Team to handle all of their banking needs. Additionally, CapitalMark’s low brick-and-motor structure is extremely efficient as we bring banking to our clients with technology and couriers.”

CapitalMark opened a full-service office in Cleveland in the fall of 2012, operated by veteran bankers John Moses and Pam Caprara and President Keith Barrett.

CapitalMark closed the first quarter with a record $882 million in total assets.

Barrett continued, “We continue to expect strong results and remain positioned for future growth as we approach $1 billion in total assets.”
