Marjorie Elanda Crabb, 83, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Wednesday morning, April 23, 2014, at the family residence.
She was the daughter of the late Beatrice Trammell McAfee and James Thomas McAfee. She was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Otha Clark; and her brother, James “Jimmy” McAfee.
She was a medical records technician and was retired from Bradley Memorial Hospital with more than 20 years of service. She enjoyed traveling with her husband and she loved being a grandmother.
Her grandchildren affectionately called her “Grandma!”
She was a member of Collegedale Community Seventh-day Adventist Church where she was very active and also served as deaconess.
Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Connon “Con” Crabb; her daughters: Connie Goodman, Carol Clark and Janet Paige and her husband, Marty; her son, Joseph Thomas Crabb, all of Cleveland; two granddaughters; six grandsons; 11 great-grandchildren; brother, Lowell “Bud” McAfee and his wife, Nancy, of Florence, Ala.; sister-in-law, Juanita McAfee of Leoma, Tenn.; and several nieces and nephews.
The Remembrance of Life Memorial service will be held today, April 27, 2014, at 11 a.m. from the Wildwood Chapel of Jim Rush Funeral Homes with Pastor Jerry Arnold officiating.
