James Charles “Red” Lhotak, Jr., 73, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Monday, April 21, 2014, at his home.
He was born in Bridgeview, Ill., on Jan. 7, 1941. He was a son of the late James Charles Lhotak and Pearl Keeler Lhotak.
He was known by his friends as “Red.” He was an avid Nascar fan, enjoyed fishing, and loved spending time with his grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one daughter, Julie Lhotak; and one brother, Al Elk.
He leaves behind to cherish his memories his beloved wife, Diane Bandy Lhotak; one son, James Lhotak (Maria); one daughter, Teresa Pearce (John); two brothers: Jerry Lhotak (Dina) and Joe Lhotak; and also two grandchildren: Tyler and Jaxsyn Pearce.
The family will be receiving friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, April 24, 2014, at Companion Funeral Home, 2419 Georgetown Road N.W, Cleveland, TN 37311.
