Griffith is a retired major with the Cobb County (Ga.) Sheriff’s Office.
His assignments over three decades included undercover narcotics, aiding the Atlanta DEA Task Force, fraud and fugitive investigations, commanding an internal affairs unit and serving as assistant division commander of field operations. He retired to devote his full attention to writing Grey Colson crime thrillers.
There will be a Meet the Author Reception from 6 until 7 p.m. for $35 per person, or $60 a couple. The hors d’oeuvre and wine reception will be limited to the first 75 reservations.
The author talk is $5 or free with a student ID. A question-and-answer session and book signing will follow the book talk.
