Roxanne Julia Siclare, 57, died Monday, March 24, 2014, at Standifer Place in Chattanooga after suffering a long illness from complications due to a stroke.

She was born on Oct. 4, 1956, in Miami, Fla. Her family moved to Avenel, N.J., where she spent her adolescent and teen years, two years later. She graduated from Colonia Senior High in Colonia, N.J., and moved to Davie, Fla., with her mother, father and brother soon after. She had been a resident of Cleveland since 2004.

She was an avid sports fan, the Atlanta Braves being her favorite team. She enjoyed cross-stitching, collecting memorabilia, the works of Jim Shore and wolves. She was a homemaker and an elder caregiver to her 81-year-old father. Christmas was her favorite holiday.

She is survived by her father, Caesar Roger Siclare Sr.; brother, Caesar Siclare II and his wife, Sherry, of Cleveland; and their two children, Wyatt and Roman.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Jane B. Siclare.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Roxanne Siclare Youth Fund at Charleston Presbyterian Church, PO Box 475, Charleston TN 37310.

Viewing will be at 5 p.m. Thursday, March 27, 2014, at Charleston Presbyterian Church, 8267 North Lee Highway, with service to follow at 6 p.m.
