Imogene (Jean) McCracken Bullock, of Bristol, Va., and recently of Cleveland, passed away Friday, March 14, 2014.

She was born in North Carolina on Aug. 7, 1928, to the late Susie E. Hagy and John Wesley McCracken.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Preston Bullock; brothers: Burhl F. and John W. McCracken; and sister, Lois E. McCracken Mathews.

She was a lifelong resident of Bristol. She graduated from Virginia High School in 1945 and was the owner and operator of Templin Flower Garden for many years. She formerly served on the board of the Bristol Public Library and the Bristol Virginia Planning Commission. She was a long-time member of Trinity United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her sister, Frances Doris McCracken Hilliard and husband, Raymond, of Bristol; children: Scott Bullock and wife, Connie, of Bristol, Steve Bullock and wife, Carol, of Jacksonville, Fla., and Patty Hurley and husband, Charles, of Cleveland; grandchildren: Brittney Freeland, Brant Bullock, Lisa Senesi, Bob Cornett, Matt Bullock, Allison Corbett, Shawn Corbett, Josh Hurley and Matt Hurley; several great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Monday, March 17, 2014, from 1 to 2 p.m. at Oakley-Cook Funeral Home and Crematory. The service will follow at 2 p.m. with Bob Sharpe officiating.

The committal and interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery in Bristol. All attending are asked to meet at the cemetery at 3:30 p.m.
