Contemporary living trends abound in these stylish townhouses featured Homes of the Week.

There is only one townhouse left at this Bellingham Drive location. They have gone quickly.

An open house is set for this weekend for prospective buyers to view the last two-bedroom dwelling.

Bellingham is located just off Urbane Road. These new homes are ready to move into, and have been equipped with energy-saving features.

They are perfect for the busy individual, couple or family. For $124,900, it’s first-come, first-served.

The builders have completed their installations, including landscaping in this close-to-everything community.

Tricia P. Haws of Southern Style Homebuilders LLC., is the owner of these unique dwellings in Bellingham.

These modern, custom townhomes include many of the amenities found in today’s larger homes and were designed by Doug Caywood of Downtown Design Studio.

Each unit has approximately 1,552 square feet. Four townhomes were available.

Two of the townhomes had three bedrooms. Each townhome has two full baths and a half bath. Each unit has complete wiring for high-speed Internet, a security system, cable TV, utilities and other amenities.

Hardwood flooring was utilized in the main living areas of the home, such as the kitchen and living room. The floor plan provides plenty of open, airy space.

Custom paint colors are also evident throughout the units, which have two large bedrooms. The kitchen is supplied with stainless appliances and custom paneled cabinets in a rich, dark finish.

Solid granite countertops were used in the modern kitchen. Unique pendant and recessed lighting was also utilized in the eat-in area of the kitchen. The granite breakfast bar is spacious and will be great for on-the-go families.

Antique bronze plumbing fixtures were used as accents.

A utility area was also furnished in the kitchen and is neatly tucked away behind closed doors. The two bedrooms are on the second level of the units.

Custom handrails complete the stairwell to the upstairs portion of the townhome. The master bedroom is large enough to accommodate bigger furnishings and has a custom tray ceiling.

Accent lighting is also provided in the master bedroom area as well as other rooms. Large Jack-and-Jill closets were also designed in the floor-plan for the master bedroom.

The master bath features a custom granite-topped vanity and tile flooring. A custom stone and glass surround is also a feature in the master bath.

The master bath also has rubbed bronze plumbing features. Rubbed bronze lighting fixtures are also placed throughout the townhomes.

The units have been equipped with ceiling fans, stabilized cellulose insulation and built with TVA Energy Right codes in mind for energy savings, including vinyl windows.

As for the exterior of the townhomes, the facade is finished in stacked stone and brick. The roofline is finished with architectural shingles. Each home also has its own covered front porch.

These homes are ready to move into upon the buyer’s need.

An open house is planned for Sunday from 2 until 4 p.m.
