Hampton Drive Baptist Church will hold it third annual Women’s Conference on March 15 featuring gospel songwriter and singer Kyla Rowland.

The meeting begins at 11 a.m., with lunch to be served following the service.

“If you have never been to one of our conferences, you have been missing blessing after blessing,” noted Doris Howard, spokesman for Hampton Drive Baptist ladies.

“There is something about women coming together for prayer and worship. Who better to know what you are going through at this time of your journey. ... Kyla gets in the Word and the Bible study is always God inspired.”

Rowland’s songs include current Top 40 hits “I Made It By Grace” sung by The McKameys and The Perrys’ “Every Time I Need Him.”

She is also an author of several books, including “Something’s Happening,” “Long Journey,” “Girl Talk” and “Between Me and the Storm.”

There is no charge for the conference, but a love offering will be given at the end of the service.

The church is located at 1940 Hampton Drive S.E.
