Lloyd William Cantrell, 83, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Friday night, Feb. 21, 2014, at his home surrounded by his family.
He was born on Feb. 27, 1930 in Vian, Okla. He was a son of the late Lawrence and Eva Ellis Cantrell.
He has made Cleveland his home since 1963. He was a member of the Cohutta Seventh-day Adventist Church. He was the owner and operator of Cantrell’s Auto Service since 1971.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by one sister, Norma Lee Singelton; and one granddaughter, Stephanie Hilliard.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving and devoted wife of 66 years, Charlyanne Holland Cantrell; six children: Sherre E. Cantrell, Gary (Becky) Cantrell, Patty (Steve) Hilliard, Scott Cantrell, Michael (Ellie) Cantrell and Tammy (Mike) Rogers; seven grandchildren: Soni Allen, Blake Cantrell, Garrett Cantrell, Olivia Cantrell, Nichole Loemaker, Sheena Cantrell and Sasha Tinsley; and seven great-grandchildren; two brothers: Don Cantrell of Apison and Tracy Cantrell of Manchester; and several other extended family members and a host of special friends.
The family will hold a private memorial service at their home at a later date.
