MACON, Ga. — Joshua Bublitz of Cleveland was named to his school’s dean’s list for the fall 2013 semester at Mercer University.
Bublitz is a junior within the university’s school of engineering.
Inclusion on this list requires students to meet rigorous GPA standards specific to each college or school within the university.
Founded in 1833, Mercer University is a dynamic and comprehensive center of undergraduate, graduate and professional education.

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. — A Clevelander has been named to the list of honor students at Skidmore College.
Cody Couture, a member of the class of 2016, earned term honors for the fall semester. He is the son of Monty and Carole Couture of Cleveland.
Term honors are awarded for a quality point ratio of 3.650 from a possible 4.0 for students who have completed 14 credit hours.
The college recognizes academic excellence in several ways. In addition to earning term honors based on work completed each semester, a student may be elected to the Skidmore chapter of Phi Beta Kappa.
Founded in 1903, Skidmore College is a coeducational, liberal arts college that enrolls approximately 2,400 students. The college grants both the bachelor of arts and the bachelor of science degree, as well as a master's degree in liberal arts.
