The board of editors at “Long Story” have chose JD DeHart’s poem “Trash Out in April” for publication in the April 2014 issue of LSS.

The poem was conceived when the author was reflecting on seasons in his native Tennessee.

Edited by Denise Cassino, Linda Barnett-Johnson and Marie Delgado Travis, A Long Story Short features fine writing from fiction and poetry to essays and, unlike many journals, also offers critiques from their submission committee. Their goal is to promote and advance the work of writers worldwide.

The URL to the poem is www.alongstoryshort.net.

JD DeHart is the author of several poems and stories published by Long Story Short and many other publications including appearance in The Commonline Journal, Steel Toe Review, Garden Gnomes’ Biblical Legends Anthology Series, Eye On Life Magazine and forthcoming work in the literary journal Straight Forward.

DeHart also edits the online journal Mount Parable and has a book of poems called “Decaf Days” published on Amazon.
