Lyric Maria Taylor of Cleveland and David Aaron Wells of Farragut exchanged wedding vows in an afternoon ceremony on Jan. 4, 2014, at Cornerstone Church in Knoxville.

The bride is the daughter of Jim and Cathy Hake of Cleveland and Marty Taylor of Harriman. She is the granddaughter of Jack Bache of Cleveland and the late Jean Bache, Barbara Taylor of Harriman and the late Ken Taylor and the late Joe and Thelma Hake.

The bridegroom is the son of Sara Klisz and Justin Lynse of Farragut and Timothy and Marylinda Wells of Frankfort, Ky. He is the grandson of the late Casmir and Doris Klisz, Maxine Wells of Edgewood, Ky. and the late James Wells .

The wedding was officiated by Craig Cooper, associate pastor of Redeeming Grace Church in Franklin, where they are both members. Nuptial music was provided by Zach Varnell, Melanie Peggs, Casey Holbrook and Matt Thornbury.

Given in marriage by her stepfather, the bride was attended by Emily Gardner of Cleveland as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Allison Calfee of Cleveland, Becca Tinker of Knoxville and Cassie Carter of Nashville.

Chris Wells, the bridegroom’s brother, served as best man. Groomsmen included James Thayer and Tyler Thayer, both of Nolensville, and Alex Cole of Atlanta. Ushers were Justin Day, Matthew Lutey and Joshua Moore, all of Knoxville.

A reception was given for the couple at the church. The bride’s book was attended by Kaitlyn Darby of Knoxville.

After a honeymoon cruise to Key West and Cozumel, the couple will reside in Nashville.

Mrs. Wells is a graduate of Walker Valley High School and the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. She is employed with Genesis Academy in Nashville.

Mr. Wells is a graduate of Farragut High School and the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. He is employed with the YMCA of Nashville.
