People Helping People, Polk County’s local nonprofit assistance organization, will be holding the Chilhowee Mountain Craft Bazaar Show and Sale on Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., indoors at their location at Highway 411 in Benton, next door to Burgess Feed and Hardware

Many talented area crafters and artists will be selling their latest creations. Handcrafted jewelry, wood crafts, paintings, framed cross-stitch, crochet hats, scarves, woven chairs, fabric crafts, tu-tus, gift boxes, doggie items and treats, homemade jellies and relishes and many more items will be for sale at each unique crafters/artist booth.

Tickets are being sold now and the day of show, for up-cycled items such as a lovely bench made from a coffee table, an updated side chair, a child's vanity chair, candleliers and more. Drawings for these items will be Saturday at 3 p.m. You do not have to be present to win.

The concessions stand will offer some delicious food items for sale so you can enjoy lunch while you shop.

Proceeds from booth fees, tickets and concessions will go to benefit People Helping People's assistance programs that improve the quality of lives for many in Polk, Bradley and surrounding counties.
