Eric Joseph Cincotta, 47, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Monday, Jan. 20, 2014, in a Birmingham, Ala., hospital.
He was a parishioner at St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church and most recently was attending Clingan Ridge Baptist Church. He was a self-employed carpenter. He was a veteran of the United States Army.
Survivors include his wife, Louise Cincotta, of Cleveland; parents, Carter and Rachel Cincotta of Ossipee, N.H.; one sister, Wendy Whiting and husband, Steve, of Panama City, Fla.; two brothers: Crispin Cincotta and wife, Ellen, of Chicago, and Carter Cincotta Jr. of Ossipee; sister-in-law, Susan Sullivan and husband, Barry, of Cleveland; and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
A Funeral Liturgy Outside of Mass will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 24, 2014, in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home, with Father Albert Sescon and Pastor Lamar Moore officiating.
Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens, with military honors.
Pallbearers will be Nick Whiting, Tyler Whiting, David Cincotta, William Cincotta, Cody Sullivan, Michael Sullivan and Taylor Sullivan. Honorary pallbearers will be Doug Warner, Charles Bagley, Bill NeSmith, Frank Evans, Mark Anthony, Robert Howell, Tim Taylor, Robert NeSmith and Dwight True.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 this evening at the funeral home.
