Benjamin Franklin Perkins, 58, a resident of Cleveland, passed away on Saturday morning, Jan, 18, 2014, in a local hospital.
He was born in Fort Thomas, Ky., on Dec. 9, 1955, a son of the late Albert and Ola Mae Perkins.
He was the owner of Perkins Heating and Air and has made Cleveland his home for the past 15 years.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers: Jerry Perkins and Kenny Perkins.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of 15 years, Melanie Y. Perkins; one brother and sister-in-law, John and Connie Perkins of Florence, Ky.; four children; and several nieces, nephews and other extended family members.
A graveside service is planned for Saturday, Jan. 25, 2014, at 11 a.m. at Tasso United Methodist Cemetery.
