Kenneth Edward True, 80, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Sunday, Jan. 19, 2014, at the family residence.
He was the son of the late Frank True Sr. and Annie Mae Lynn True.
He was a member of the Family Worship center and was a retired truck driver with more than 40 years of experience retiring from Vestal Trucking. He was also a veteran of the National Guard of the United States.
He is survived by his sons: Keith True and his wife, Karen, of Cleveland and Steve True of Benton; daughters Vicki Bates and her husband, Jack, of Benton, Deborah Brown and her husband, Dean, of Cleveland, Sheila Holt of Benton, Lisa Cameron and her husband, Larry, of Michigan; 19 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; sisters, Mattie Ruth Worthy and Mildred Beeler, both of Sweetwater; and several nieces and nephews.
A Remembrance of Life service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2014, at the Wildwood Chapel of Jim Rush Funeral Homes with Pastor Issac Walker officiating.
Interment will follow in the East Sweetwater Freewill Baptist Church with Kenneth Brown, Josh Poss, Mike Brown, George Long, Casey True and Taylor True.
The family will receive friends this evening from 5 to 8 at the funeral home.
