Bobby “BJ” Prock, 65, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Thursday, Jan. 16, 2014, in a local hospital.

He was the son of the late John Buster and Ella Prock. He was also preceded in death by two brothers: Gene and Jimmie Prock; and brothers-in-law: Clarence Dalton and Russell Lewallen.

He was retired from Honeywell/Bendix with over 39 years of service and was of the Baptist faith. He was an avid trout fisherman, the Tellico River being his second home. He was also a camper extraordinaire.

He is survived by his daughter, Kristie Johnson and her husband, Scott; stepdaughter, Denise Davis; granddaughters: Jennifer LaShay Moats and her husband, Travis, and Shi Reagan and her fiancé, Logan Dodson; grandson, Alex Moats; brothers: Charles Prock and his wife, Christine, Wiley Prock and his wife, Peggy, and Gary Prock; sisters: Naomi Lewallen, Clara Anderson, Bonnie Dalton and Gloria Michaud and her husband, EJ; Kristie’s mother, Peggy Dalton Prock; and several nieces and nephews.

A Remembrance of Life Service will be held 2 p.m. today, Jan. 19, 2014, at the Wildwood Chapel of the Jim Rush Funeral Homes with the Rev. John Bivens officiating.

Interment will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Eric Wilson, Logan Dodson, Travis Moats, Marshall Dalton, Tim Prock and Mark Anderson serving as casket bearers. The family received friends Saturday evening at the funeral home.
