The YMCA has partnered with the library this week to get everyone moving. Participants will meet Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. in the Community Room for Fitness Plus. Family Yoga will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Children’s Activity Room and teens will get moving with a Zumba class at their After-Hours on Saturday beginning at 7 p.m.
New exhibit “Stitches In Time — Hand Quilting” opens with a members-only opening reception on Thursday at 6 p.m. It will open to the public on Friday. The simple yet intricate art of hand quilting will be explored with 25 antique quilts finished prior to 1950, as well as 25 contemporary hand-quilted quilts.
10th Annual Grape Escape will be Jan. 26 at Cafe Roma in historic downtown Cleveland. Silent Auction begins at 5:30 p.m. Come for an evening of great food with selected wine pairings and a fun auction of wine and related items. A limited number of tickets is available. Movie Night @ the library will kick off the series with a showing of “Lee Daniels’ The Butler” at 6:30 p.m. Jan. 28. Enjoy a night at the movies with free popcorn and the big screen.
Take Charge of Your Diabetes six-week course will begin Feb. 3, and continue Feb. 10, 17, 24, March 3 and 10, from 2 to 4 p.m. each week. The course is a fun, skill-building program designed for persons with diabetes. It is designed to help individuals take day-to-day responsibility for the care of their diabetes.
