CCS falls at Rhea Academy

DAYTON — The Cleveland Christian Crusaders traveled to Dayton to take on Rhea County Academy on Friday.

The Crusaders were unable to hold off their opponent, ultimately falling 59-34.

CCS trailed RCA 14-9 after the first quarter.

Rhea went on to add 15 more points in the second quarter, while CCS was only able to put up six points.

Entering the second half with a 14 point deficit, the Crusaders were able to hold Rhea to just 12 points in the third quarter, while scoring six points of their own.

Both teams revved up their offensive efforts in the fourth quarter, with the Crusaders adding 12 points to their total and Rhea finishing with 18 more points.

Chris Reynolds led CCS, racking up a total of 20 points in the game.
