“Growing up in Bradley County and working with Head Start/pre-K families has instilled in me a desire to continue serving the community as a county commissioner,” she said.
Montgomery is currently employed with Family Resource Agency. She has four children, Mark and Jennifer, and Chad and Hailey; and four grandchildren, Austin, Josh, Lily and Jocelyn.
“If the voters elect me, I will do my best to be open and accessible, and vote for responsible policies. I will live by my Christian principles and values. I will serve with integrity and honesty, and vote the will of the people. I will be the voice of the people in the community,” Montgomery said.
“I will continue to handle the taxpayers’ money responsibly, continue supporting the fire department, support new industries in the community which will bring new jobs to the area, look for ways to continue improving the schools to handle the growth, vote to not increase property taxes, and ensure the current tax dollar is stretched,” she said.
