Multi-award winning singer, songwriter and producer Tammy Odom and Dixie Sonshine will headline the Cowboy Gospel Jubilee, Friday night at 7.

The show is free and open to the public.

“Tammy is an exciting singer and performer,” said Will Nichols, announcer and producer of the local music show. “She and her mother, Linda, make up the award-winning duo, Dixie Sonshine.”

Odom and Ratcliff have been singing with each other for more than 30 years. They have performed hundreds of live shows as well as on television, radio and on Internet venues including YouTube and others.

“Tammy is making her second appearance on the Jubilee,” said Nichols. “She has a terrific Dolly Partin-ish country sound, and she knows how to entertain and communicate in song. Her work as a television and video producer has benefited a number of Jubilee headliners.”

The Cowboy Gospel Jubilee is a fast-paced, Opry-style show that features multiple performers and various styles of music. Also appearing is performing artist Amy McAlister, singer-songwriter Elmer Bramlett, and the Cowboy Church Band and Chorale.

The Cowboy Gospel Jubilee is held at the Cleveland Cowboy Church in the Dockery Heights community at 3040 Blythe Road, off Dockery Lane, between Blue Springs and Blackburn Roads. A love offering is taken.
