Julie Marie Lindon, 56, a resident of Cleveland, passed away late Tuesday night, Dec. 31, 2013, at her home.
She was born in Ringgold, Ga., on Nov. 11, 1957, a daughter of Don and Hazel Brooks.
She has made Cleveland her home for the past 13 years. She was of the Christian faith. She and her husband owned and operated the McDonald Trading Post in McDonald.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving husband of more than 13 years, Charles Lindon; parents, Don and Hazel Brooks; one sister, Connie Pack; two brothers: William Michael Stro and Daniel Stro; her four-legged companions: Apache, Worthless, Little Bit, Sox and Bob; and numerous other extended family members and a host of special friends.
A celebration of her life will be held Sunday, Jan. 5, 2014, at 2 p.m. at the Heritage Fellowship Church of God, 4536 South Lee Highway in McDonald, with pastor Steve Gilbert officiating.
Interment will follow in the Lee Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the church Saturday night from 6 until 8, and also one hour prior to the service on Sunday.
