Calvin T. Webster, 51, of Hixson, passed away Thursday, Jan. 2, 2014, at his residence.

He was a 1980 graduate of Rossville High School and Lee University and was employed as a corrections officer with the Bradley County Sheriff’s office for 21 years.

He was a member of Power Plant Ministry Center and enjoyed shooting guns and spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Wanda Webster; and niece, Lana Beth Webster.

Survivors include his wife, Kelly Webster; children: Lindsey (Aaron) Schrock, Thomas Webster and Logan Webster; stepson, Patton Meeks; brother, Jim (Cindy) Webster; sister, Sherry Johnson; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Iva and Ted Steed; father-in-law, James Meeks; and several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, Jan. 4, 2014, at 3 p.m. at Power Plant Ministry Center, 3975 Brainerd Road, Chattanooga, with Pastor Andrew Towe officiating.
