Lorene J. Inslee, 76, a resident of Cleveland, passed away on Friday morning, Dec. 27, 2013, with her loving husband by her side.

She was born in San Jose, Calif. on Aug. 17, 1937, a daughter of late Cirl and France Ribsi.

She was of the Catholic faith and a member of St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church.

She attended San Jose State University and went on to work for more than 20 years at the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory where for 15 of those years were an administrative assistant in the weapons design department.

She loved to travel and had made Cleveland home a couple of times throughout her life. This time she had lived here 10 years. Her love of travel took her many places including Paris while her husband attended school there. In her later years, she and her husband took up cruise travel that had taken them to many various areas over the past couple of years.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving and devoted husband and travel partner of more than 15 years, Gene L. Inslee. She is also survived by many numerous other extended family members, church family and a host of special friends.

Gene will receive friends tonight, Dec. 30, 2013, in the parlor of Companion Funeral Home, 2415 Georgetown Road from 5 to 7 p.m.

A funeral mass will be held Tuesday morning, Dec. 31, 2013, at 10 a.m. at St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church in Cleveland, 900 Clingan Ridge Drive with Father Albert Sescon officiating.
