Wanoka McClure Sullivan, 83, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 24, 2013, in a local health care facility.

She was a loving mother and grandmother. She was a member of Samples Memorial Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by husbands: Leon McClure and Joe Sullivan; daughter, Denise Guthrie; and parents, Dewey and Ethel Stonecipher Epperson.

She is survived by her children: Dale McClure and wife, Becky; son-in-law, George Guthrie; stepchildren: Robert McClure and wife, Joann, and Gwen Ledford, all of Cleveland; three grandchildren: Jason Guthrie and wife, Holly, of Old Fort, Jeremy Guthrie and wife, Alicia, and Mason McClure, all of Cleveland; three great-grandchildren: Abby Guthrie, Andy Guthrie and Emma Guthrie; two sisters: Jo Ownby and husband, Hoyt and Billie McClure, all of Cleveland; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held at 7 p.m. today, Dec. 27, 2013, in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Pastor Lee Ingram and Pastor Jason Guthrie officiating.

Interment will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Cedar Springs Cemetery. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service.

The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 this evening at the funeral home.
