The Cleveland Middle school sixth-grade boys basketball team captured the Ocoee Christmas Postseason tournament championship by defeating Ocoee Middle 49-24. The Raiders were led on offense by Austin Allen with 24 points, followed by Ricky McCleary with eight. Also contributing to the win was Clark Lockerby with five points, Jyren Hammonds with five, Robert Flowers with four, Jacobi Wood with two and Jax Lambert with one. “I am very proud of how the guys came together tonight for this victory,” coach Brian Ball said. “Our big man Austin Allen came alive tonight and the contribution of our bench shows the depth of this team.” The championship wraps up an undefeated season for the sixth-grade Raiders.
