Theresa Dalton, front left, is presented the Cleveland/Bradley Keep America Beautiful Beautification Award by KAB Executive Director Joanne Maskew. Behind the wall are state Rep. Eric Watson, Shane Higgins of Gary Rose Stone Designs, Ken Curtis of All-State Construction, KAB President Shari Horton, Joyce Johnson, and Canyon Williams. The Cleveland/Bradley Keep American Beautiful System awarded its December Beautification Award to Oasis located on 540 Inman St. “It was a labor of love,” said owner/operator Theresa Dalton. KAB Board President Shari Horton said the local business was nominated after it built a front stone facade wall that welcomes residents and visitors into the historic downtown area. “It is a hard thing to keep a convenience store like this that is open 24/7 clean and neat,” Horton said. “This award is not simply about the addition of the new welcome stone wall, but their efforts to present a clean business to the community.”
