“Thank you” to everyone who helped us last week with photos for our “geek” campaign. We still need people to complete our short survey on what you “geek.” Go to geek.clevelandlibrary.org to tell us your interests and passions and share what your public library does for you. Watch for the kickoff in January 2014.

At the library’s Family Reading Night on Monday, books will be given to the first 10 patrons and a special craft, Holiday Cookie Houses, will be available for the first 30 participants. The event will be held in the Community Room from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. A special guest is scheduled for a visit.

The new holiday classic, “A Christmas Story,” will be shown on Movie Night at the Library Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the Community Room. Bring the family to see this 1983 movie on the Big Screen and enjoy freshly made popcorn.

A tour of the library will be held Thursday at 4 p.m. Meet in the lobby to see the behind the scene happenings at the library. No reservations are needed and the tour usually lasts 45 minutes.

Tweens, 8-12, will be discussing the “Museum of Thieves” by Lian Tanner during Book Chatter on Friday at 4:30 p.m. in the activity room. Books are available at the Children’s Room desk.

TAG, the Teen Advisory Group, will host an ornament exchange and cookie swap at its “After Hours” Friday from 7 until 9 p.m. Teens 13 through 17 are invited to bring an ornament for exchange and cookies to share.

The library will be closed Dec. 24-26 for the Christmas holidays.
