Britney Cooke and Andrew Brown, both of Cleveland, were united in marriage in an evening ceremony on Oct. 12, 2013, at The Honors Course.

The bride is the daughter of Dan and Janey Cooke of Cleveland. She is the granddaughter of Martha Cooke of Cleveland and the late Carl Cooke, Bobbie Pendergrass of Cleveland and the late J.P. Pendergrass.

The bridegroom is the son of Marsha and Bill Brown of Cleveland. He is the grandson of Francis Cox of Hartsville.

The wedding was officiated by Joel Huffstetler, pastor at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride was attended by Lindsey Cooke of Cleveland and Rebecca Mader of Atlanta as matrons of honor. Bridesmaids were Abby Pendergrass of Greenville, S.C., Ann Marie Brown of Nashville and Tara Carter of Athens.

Best men to the bridegroom were Bill Brown and Taylor DeVane, both of Cleveland. Groomsmen were Kevin Sweat of Athens, Ga., Josh Bonham of Chicago, and James Pendergrass of Greenville. Ushers were Allen Carter of Athens and Bo Nichols of Daphne, Ala.

Flower girls were Lexie Mader of Atlanta and Povey Carter of Athens. Tristan Wagner of Cleveland and Charlie Mader of Atlanta were ring bearers.

The reception was given by the parents of the bride at The Honors Course. Meg Jacobs and Ashlan Morelock attended the bride’s book.

After a wedding trip to Maui, Hawaii, the couple is at home in Cleveland.
