Bears roll past Seahawks in regular season finale

CHATTANOOGA — Bradley Central wrapped up its regular bowling season with a trip to Chattanooga to face Silverdale Baptist Academy.

The Bears claimed a better than 500-pin fall total to down the Seahawk coed team 21-6.

Bradley will now await the District 5 Tournament in early January.

After the teams split the first half dozen heads-up battles, the Bears edged ahead 5-3, claiming the pin fall bonus points 889-740 in the opening round.

Bradley exerted its dominance in the second round, winning five of the six individual battles and claiming a 956-732 pin fall edge.

In the final round the Black-and-Gold finished strong with four individual points, plus the last of the bonus points.;

Bradley finished with a 2,748-2,286 total pin fall victory.

Alex Norman led the Bear attack with a two-game 421 two-game total, rolling a match-high game of 225, plus adding a 196 to claim both of his heads-up battles.

Mitchell Baker came away with a 560-series, including a 222 game, while Ryan Chapman posted a 524 three-game tally. Trevor Kennedy helped out with a 444 series. Alex Norwood rolled a 187 in his lone game.
