Ruby Pearl Graves-Voght ,86, passed away Saturday, Dec. 7, 2013, at her home, surrounded by her loving family in Fort Wayne, Ind. She was born in Charleston.

She worked as a housekeeper with Wayne Motel for 15 years and at the Salvation Army for 22 years.

Survivors include her daughter, Sharon Vestal of Fort Wayne; son, James H. Graves of Columbia City, Ind.; daughter, Gina (Chuck) Mergy of Angola, Ind.; daughter, Carol Morningstar of Fort Wayne; brother, John T. Scroggins of Georgia; grandchildren: William “Tommy” Vestal, Angelita (Benjamin) Compagnari, Amber Couch and James J.P. Graves.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James L. Graves; sisters: Jeanette Pritchard, Betty Watson, Bessie Guyer and Parallee Price; and brother, Willie Scroggins.

The funeral will be held Friday, Dec. 13, 2013, at 10:30 a.m., at D.O. McComb and Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave., with calling one hour prior. Calling is also Thursday from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Interment will be in Prairie Grove Cemetery, Fort Wayne, Ind.

Memorials may be made to the Salvation Army.
