Patsy Stone Barker, 60 of Etowah, passed away, Saturday, Dec. 7, 2013, at her residence.
She was a native of Polk County but she lived most of her life in McMinn County. She was a member of Woodward Avenue Church of God.
For the last 15 years, she and her husband owned their own quilt business.
She was a daughter of Betty Stone and the late Clifford Burch Stone. She was preceded in death by her father and a grandson, Calab Jamerson.
Survivors include her husband, Norman Barker; daughters and son-in-laws: Sheila and Keith Maciorowski and Rene and Hoyt Jamerson; mother; Betty Stone, sister, Kathy Stone; brothers and sister in-law: Steve Stone, Jeff and Sharon Stone; brother in-law and spouse: Jerry and Sandy Barker; sister in-laws and spouse: Jean and Bill Pitchford, and Brenda Barker; grandchildren: Tia Tellgren, Ryan Williams, Kailey Jamerson, Chase Jamerson, and Grace Maciorowski; great-grandchildren: Hailey Tellgren and Austin Tellgren, and several nieces and nephews who she loved very much. She was loved by everyone and touched the lives of many during her life.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 12, 2013, in the South Chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with Pastor Clifford Waters officiating.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2013.
Family and friends will proceed to New Zion Baptist Church Cemetery Thursday following the service.
Rob Cruze, Trevor Stone, Brad Stone, Eddie Hester, David Barker, and Don Barker will serve as pallbearers. Jerry Barker will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
