The Lee University School of Music and School of Religion join together this Christmas season to present a Service of Lessons and Carols on Thursday, Dec. 12 at 7:30 p.m. in the Lee Chapel.

The Lee University Chorale, directed by Dr. William Green, will be joined by organist Dr. Matthew Krepps, Dr. Terry Cross, and members of the Lee University School of Religion faculty in telling the Christmas story in a series of nine lessons taken from Scripture.

These lessons will be woven together with wonderful songs of the season that highlight the birth of the Christ child and its meaning.

Admission to the Service of Lessons and Carols is free of charge, but tickets are required due to limited seating. Tickets are available by calling the Dixon Center Box Office at 614-8343, or picking up tickets at the box office during weekday operating hours of 3-6 p.m.

For those unable to attend, the event will be streamed live at www.leeuniversity.edu/video.
