Caitlin Hammon will perform with Lee University Choral Union and Symphony Orchestra in “A Classic Christmas” at the Conn Center, today at 3 p.m., and with the Tennessee Chamber Chorus in the “Ceremony of Carols” on Dec. 15, at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church at 7:30 p.m.

The Tennessee Youth Ballet will present “The Nutcracker” today at 3 p.m., at the Dixon Center on Lee University campus. Tickets may be purchased at the door if still available. Tickets are $15 and $20. Call 476-3030 for more information.

Family Game Time is on Dec. 11 from 4:30 to 6 p.m. in the Community Room at the library. PJ’s and “The Polar Express” will be Dec. 12 from 6:45 to 8:15 p.m. This is the time to come to the library in your pajamas with your favorite blanket and watch a delightful Christmas movie with hot chocolate and popcorn. Tween Matinee will be showing “The Croods” on Dec. 14 in the Community Room from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Family Reading Night will be Dec. 16 at the library from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the Community Room. Books will be given to the first 10 patrons and a special craft, Holiday Cookie Houses, will be available for the first 30 participants.

Movie Night at the Library will show the new holiday classic, “A Christmas Story,” in the Community Room Dec. 17 at 7 p.m. Bring the family to see this 1983 movie on the Big Screen and enjoy freshly made popcorn.

StageWorks of Cleveland, a community theater group, has set auditions for its next show “Almost, Maine” by John Cariani. Auditions will be Dec. 16 and 17, 6 p.m., at 2306 Guthrie Ave. N.W. in Cleveland. There is no need to prepare anything for these auditions. Callbacks will be Dec.18 if necessary.
