It’s that time again.

Cleveland Creative Arts Guild presents the 33rd annual Christmas Open House on Saturday and Sunday, from 1 to 5 p.m. each day. CAG is located at historic Five Points, 295 Inman St. Parking is available at the rear of the building. Register for door prizes and enjoy decadent refreshments.

The open house will feature unique and original work by the area’s finest artists and craftsmen, such as Ed Leech. New arrivals include handsome wood turnings by Henry Cofield crafted from elm, walnut, maple, pear and other exotic woods. Favorites returning will be pottery by John Simmons, Linda Leggett and Sylvia White.

Of course, Christmas trees will be on display and to decorate the home, there will be wreaths, reindeer, angels, snowmen, Santas, stars, birds and bows, as well as hand-painted signs by Kelly Wall that “say it all.”

There will also be hats, scarves, gloves, shawls, sweaters and shrugs by Nan Tucker and June Spratlin.

Also, on sale will be the published works of history writers Carolyn Johnston and Debbie Moore.

According to CAG director Dale Dotson, the guild exhibitors, volunteers and hospitality committee always prepare and look forward to this two-day event, and hope to welcome newcomers along with the “ever-faithful” who never miss this holiday celebration.

Holiday shopping hours are Tuesday through Friday, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. For more information, call Dotson at 284-9172.
