Professional Southern Gospel/Christian Country singer Ron Brewer will headline the Cowboy Gospel Jubilee Friday night at 7. The show is free and open to the public.

“Ron is a sought-after entertainer, recording artist and songwriter making his third appearance on the Jubilee,” said the Rev. Will Nichols, announcer and producer of the local music show. “His unique blend of music, humor and testimony make him a popular performer across the country.”

From his Summerville, Ga., home, Brewer travels to over 275 dates a year. He has released six CDs with the latest titled, “When I’m With You.” His newest project, “Those Crazy Christians,” is scheduled for release next month.

“Ron’s concerts are a twist of Southern Gospel and Christian Country,” said Nichols. “He has an incredible ability to move his audiences with his music. His style has been compared to that of Marty Raybon.”

The Jubilee is a fast-paced, Opry-style show that features multiple performers and various styles of music. Regulars appearing on the Jubilee include singer-songwriter Elmer Bramlett, “The Wild Man” Danny O’Boyle, Emily Varnell, as well as the Cowboy Church Band and Chorale.

The Cowboy Gospel Jubilee is held at the Cleveland Cowboy Church in the Dockery Heights community at 3040 Blythe Road, Cleveland TN 37323. It is located off Dockery Lane, between Blue Springs and Blackburn Roads. A love offering is taken.
