Tommy Alan Cloar Sr., 60, of Cleveland, passed away Friday Nov. 15, 2013, in a local hospital.
He was preceded in death by his father, James William Cloar; his sister, Shirley Terrell; his niece, Laura Jean Terrell; and his brother-in-law, Michael Terrell.
He was a graduate of Bradley Central High School.
He was an auto mechanic most of his life, working at Callaway Dodge, Kile Dodge and most recently with Crown of Cleveland Automotive. He was an avid fisherman and he loved the Atlanta Braves.
He was of the Christian faith.
Survivors include his wife, Sally Lawson Cloar of Cleveland; son, Tommy Alan Cloar Jr.; mother, Betty Jones Cloar Branam; sister, Carolyn Cloar Terrell; brother, James Ronald Cloar and his wife, Loretta; sister-in-law, Ann Hudson and her husband, Rick, all of Cleveland; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
The Remembrance of Life Service will be conducted today, Nov., 17, 2013, at 2 p.m. from the North Ocoee Chapel of the Jim Rush Funeral Homes with the Rev. Gary King officiating.
Interment will follow in the Moores Chapel Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
