The Edward Jones branches in Cleveland will be serving as drop-off locations for the Chattanooga Area Food Bank this holiday season. Local residents and businesses may help those less fortunate by bringing non-perishable food items to the Edward Jones branches during regular business hours.

Any non-perishable food items are accepted, but they are most in need of the following: peanut butter, fruit/vegetable juice, dry beans, rice, pasta, chili, beef stew, canned meats like tuna and chicken, canned fruits and vegetables, flour, cornmeal, oats and grits.

To help people in Cleveland and Bradley County, the Chattanooga Area Food Bank will be partnering with The Caring Place to give food to those who need it. All donations will be picked up by The Caring Place on Dec. 18 to be given to needy families.

“The food does stay in Cleveland,” said Kelly Browand, financial advisor at one of the Cleveland branches. “We want to help local people.”

Each branch is competing to see which can provide the largest donation of food.

The Cleveland Edward Jones branch locations for drop-off are:

- 3858 Candies Creek Lane, Suite C

- 112 Stuart Road N.E.

- 1596 Clingan Ridge Drive NW

- 230 North Ocoee Street

- 2080 Chambliss Ave. N.W., Suite 1

- 2060 North Ocoee St.

- 1053 Peerless Crossing.
