Linda Lou Bell Fannin, 73, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Monday, Nov. 11, 2013, in a local hospital.
She was a member of Big Spring United Methodist Church, where she served as treasurer for the past 14 years and was a former Sunday school teacher. She was very active in Bridgemakers. She was retired from Johnston Coca-Cola after 25 years of service.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Vernon “Clem” Fannin; parents, Thomas and Mildred Bell; and a sister, Margaret Dooly.
She is survived by her son, Thomas L. Fannin of Cleveland; one granddaughter, Emma Fannin of Cleveland; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 15, 2013, in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Pastor Ray Petty officiating.
Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with Heath Sullivan, Jim Bentley, Bo Ellis, Larry Suits, Bryan Bentley and Doug Flack serving as pallbearers. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
