The Department of Continuing Education at Cleveland State Community College will be offering Beginning Chalk Painting and a holiday design noncredit course.

“There's a Designer in You!” Holiday Class will be offered on Nov. 12, from 6 to 8 p.m.

Participants will be able to make customized wreaths with holiday bows and use natural elements found in and around their homes to create their own holiday masterpiece.

Dwight Richardson of Fenimore’s Floral Designs is the instructor for the holiday design course. The fee for the course is $40.

The Beginning Chalk Painting course will be offered Dec. 3 from 6 to 8 p.m. Participants should wear paint clothes and be prepared to create a one-of-a-kind piece.

Dawn Standridge is the instructor for the Beginner’s Chalk Painting course. All supplies will be provided. The fee for the course is $55.

“I’m so excited about the opportunity to share this unique painting technique and look forward to a fun and festive class on Dec. 3,” stated Standridge.
