Civitan 11-3
Corinne Freeman was the speaker for the Cleveland Civitan Club this past week at the Mountain View Inn. She works at the Bradley Initiative for Church and Community as program director for the Starfish program. BICC is a nonprofit, ecumenical, Christian organization devoted to strengthening families and our community. Freeman introduced Starfish as an in-home parent education program that is a Parents as Teachers Affiliate and told the group how the program and referrals work. It has been so successful with tremendous growth in Bradley County, that they have had to expand the mandates for acceptance into the Starfish program. From left are Civitan Ann Marie Brewer, Freeman, and Civitan Phil Brown.
