Lee University will host its annual 5K Fun Run on Nov. 2, as part of the Homecoming festivities.

The theme this year is “Dash through the Decades,” and runners are encouraged to come wearing a costume reflecting any decade from the 1960s through the 1990s. There will be a costume contest before the race begins. Prizes will be awarded for the best female costume, best male costume and best group costume. There will also be awards for the top three male and female runners. Registration will begin at 7 a.m. in front of the Paul Conn Student Union. Runners are also able to register online at www.RunAtLee.com, but they will still need to check in before the race. The 5K is the certified 65 Roses course, and all students, faculty, alumni and friends are welcome to participate. The cost of the race is $15.
