He was preceded in death by his father, Billy Joe LeRoy Sr.
He was employed with Horizon Milling in Chattanooga for more than five years and was previously employed as a diesel mechanic with Foodliner Trucking.
He is survived by his wife, Cynthia R. LeRoy; one son, Clay LeRoy; daughters: Caty LeRoy and Courtney LeRoy, both of Birchwood, Mandy “Carrie” Watson and her husband, Jason, and Sonia Wilcox, all of Benton; and grandchildren: Shawn, Beth, Austin and Ethan Watson, all of Benton.
He is also survived by his mother, Wilma J. Goode of Cleveland: brothers: Anthony LeRoy and his wife, Kelly, of Birchwood, Roy LeRoy of Tiftonia, Ricky Long of Birchwood, Vance LeRoy and his wife, Anita, of Apison, Shane LeRoy of Cleveland; his sisters: Wilma Cole and her husband, Joe, of Dalton Ga., Marilyn Murphy and her husband, Wayne, of Harrison, Darlene LeRoy of Cleveland, Nancy Burchfield and her husband, Charles, of Cleveland, Kathy Bean and her husband, Joe, of Decatur, Sarah LeRoy of Ooltewah, Sheila Sanders and her husband, Darryl, of Dayton;and several nieces and nephews.
A Remembrance of Life service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 10, 2013, at the North Chapel of Jim Rush Funeral Homes with the Rev. Dewayne Lee officiating.
Interment will follow in the McInturf Cemetery with Tommy Green, Jason Watson, Frank Friddell Sr., Caleb Letson, Frank Friddell Jr., David Sherrod, Logan Davis and Jake Stone serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 this evening at the funeral home.
