Reba M. Catlett Jones, 82, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Monday evening, Sept. 30, 2013, in a local hospital.
She was the daughter of the late Lorella Caldwell Catlett and Cecil Catlett. She was preceded in death by her sisters: Billie Blankenship and Dean Whiteside; brothers: Harold, Roy, Troy and C.J. Catlett, Harlie Stephenson and Gene Stephenson; and her sister-in-law, Eda Sue Catlett.
She was retired from American Uniform Company with more than 40 years of service. She was an avid Atlanta Braves Fan and she loved watching her hummingbirds. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her great-grandchildren. She attended the Church of God.
Survivors include her daughter, Karen Diane Wolfley and her husband, Jeff, of Charleston; son, Randall “Randy” Jones and his wife, Teresa, of Cleveland; her granddaughter, Stacie Rhoades and her husband, Tim; her stepgrandchildren: Alisha Miller and her husband, Darrin, of Cleveland, Christopher Appelt and his wife, Anastasia, of Norfolk Va.; five great-grandchildren; sister, Helen Catlett; and brother, Larry Catlett, both of Cleveland; and several nieces, nephews and her special neighbors that watched over her.
The Celebration of her Life service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 3, 2013, from the Wildwood Chapel of Jim Rush Funeral Homes with Pastor Frank Evans officiating.
Interment will follow in the Fort Hill Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8:30 this evening, Oct. 2, at the funeral home.
