An Estate Planning program will be held in the Community Room Monday at 6:30 p.m. Kelly Browand from Edward Jones will discuss topics on planning, how to reduce taxes on your estate and how insurance can help protect the family. To register call the Non-Fiction Desk at 472-2163.
Computer classes for October are: Basic Computers (Windows 7) — Oct. 2 and 3 from 3 to 5 p.m., (Windows 8) — Oct. 14 and 15 from 10 a.m. to noon; Intermediate Computers — Oct. 23 and 24 from 3 to 5 p.m.; Basic Email — Oct. 9 and 10 from 3 to 5 p.m.; Excel — Oct. 28, 29, 30 and 31 from 3 to 5 p.m.; Basic Internet — Oct. 7 and 8 from 10 a.m. to noon; Powerpoint — Oct. 21 and 22 from 10 a.m. to noon; Word — Oct. 16 and 17 from 3 to 5 p.m.
There will be Ebook Workshops from noon to 2 p.m. each Friday for the following devices: Amazon Kindle, Oct. 4 and Nov. 1; Barnes & Noble Nook, Oct. 11; Apple devices, Oct. 18; and Android Devices, Oct. 25. These workshops are designed to help you use your device with the free library R.E.A.D.S. service.
