The congregation invites the public to join with them to extend gratitude to Pastor Westfield for her devoted service to the church over the past 11 years.
Morning worship will begin at 10:30 a.m. at St. James CPCA, located at 151 Short St
Dr. Walker was the last pastor to serve at St. James before Westfied was installed in May 2002.
He served the church and Bradley County community for more than 23 years through involvement in many organizations including: Bradley Initiative for Church and Community, Crestwood Medical Center, Bradley Memorial Hospital, Cleveland Community Hospital, Cleveland-Bradley Housing Corporation, Bradley County Head Start, Cleveland Housing Authority, Cleveland YMCA, Habitat for Humanity, Bradley County NAACP, and Cleveland Help-Line.
Dr. Walker earned a bachelor of arts degree from Bethel College; a master of divinity from Louisville Presbytery Seminary; a doctor of ministry from Columbia Theological Seminary; and recently received a graduate certificate in addiction counseling from Memphis Theological Seminary.
Dr. Walker is currently the senior pastor of Church Street CPCA in Huntsville, Ala.
He serves on the board of Huntsville Association for Pastoral Care, an instructor for Huntsville Bible College, member of the Materials Review Committee of Huntsville AIDS Action Coalition, Association of Alcoholism & Drug Abuse Counselors (NAADAC), American Association for Christian Counselors (AACC) American Counseling Association (ACA), Madison County NAACP and The National Association for Addiction Professionals.
