Hannah Elizabeth Fritts, 83, of Cleveland, stepped into the presence of our Savior on Sunday, Sept. 15, 2013.

Nanny, as most people knew her, was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Through all of her sickness, she always had a smile on her face.

She was preceded in death by her husband, J.L. Fritts; parents, Arthur and Rosa Johnson; daughter-in-law, Mary Fritts; granddaughter, Sheila Denise Fannin; great-grandson, Jaxon Arvil Ray Chadwick; brothers: Houston Johnson, Audley Johnson, Johnny Johnson and Larry Johnson; sisters: Betty Wayman and Rosa Lee Smith; and infant siblings: Charles Edward and Mary Kathleen Johnson.

Left to cherish her memory are her children: Sandra Kay (Glenn) Fannin, Frank Fritts, Debbie (Jerry) Garland and Sharon (Mel ) Moss; her grandchildren: Tina (Kyle) Roberts, Michael Fannin, Lisa Jones, Kim (Lloyd) Nesbitt, Melanie (Darrell) Evans, Amy (Moocher) Chadwick, Angela (Josh) Linson, Shane Fritts; and her great-grandchildren: Zach Roberts, Misty Chadwick, Faith Goatley, Amber Jones, Mesha Taylor, Jonathan Jones, Chase Fannin, Jacob Roberts, Hailey Taylor, Kailyn Fannin, Grayson Chadwick and Hannah Linson; her brothers: Theodore (Hilda) Johnson, Joe (Brenda) Johnson: sister-in-law, Judy Johnson; and a special family friend, Angie Holdiman.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 tonight at Galilee Baptist Church, 665 Old Chattanooga Pike, Cleveland, TN 37311.

The funeral will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2013, at 11 a.m. at the church with Don Weaver and Ray Cheathem officiating.

Interment will follow the service at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.

Michael Fannin, Chase Fannin, Kyle Roberts, Shane Fritts, Lloyd Nesbit, and Jacob Roberts will serve as pallbearers.
