The Cleveland Single Friends will be having an afternoon of fun in Tinsley Park Saturday, beginning at 7 p.m.

Scheduled for the event are lots of activities — lawn games, tennis, walking and a trail for riding bicycles.

The event will be at the pavilion in the back of the park in case of rain. Come and eat some watermelon, play some games, and enjoy being outside.

Cleveland Single Friends are a group of Christian singles who meets two or more times a month for dinner, games, hiking, bowling, fellowship, etc.

The group averaged around 30 to 40 members over the past year.

Currently the group represents several churches in the Cleveland/Chattanooga area and ages of group members range from 30 to 70 years old. The group welcomes children of singles, knowing being a single parent is often part of being single over 30.
